TORONTO, December 1, 2019 – RTC (REVERSE THE CRUSH or www.reversethecrush.com) announced today its dividend income results for the month of November that ended on November 30, 2019. This is dividend income update 30.

- Increase of $91.20 over 2018 revenue
- Dividend income is up 23.37% over last year’s income with 1 month remaining.
It is almost hard to believe that only 1 month of the decade remains.
It’s even crazier to think that this is the 3rd ending to a decade I’ve seen (I was born in the 80’s but don’t remember 1989). Time goes by fast.
Sometimes I hate my stupid memory because I can easily reflect back to the end of each decade. I can recall the end of the 1990’s, when we were all concerned with the end of the world. I stayed at a friend’s house from grade 8 during that event. We shared a fondu, which was my first and last fondu, and I remember watching Austin Powers.
Then prior to this decade kicking off on December 31, 2009, I partied at a friend’s condo in Toronto before heading back to London for College the next day. There was a terrible snow storm that made my trip a truly awful experience. But I will admit that it was a fun night, and that I started that decade off in a memorable way.
So why am I telling you this? It seemed appropriate to reminisce about the last 3 decades because this is the 30th dividend income update, and because so much has changed this year. I’m starting the decade off totally new again just like I did in 2010.
But this time around, I am bringing a growing dividend portfolio along with me. I know a lot more change will come my way, but I know that dividend income will be one of the consistent parts of my life over the next 10 years.
November’s dividend income increased by 24.19% over November 2018, and total dividend income is up by nearly 24% overall for the year. Imagine where dividend income could be by the end of the next decade…

Dividend Income Update # 30 – Concluding Thoughts
Obviously the highlight of this report is earning $481.39 worth of dividend income in 2019, because this is my highest passive income total ever.
What’s more is that I still have a chance to push this total higher in December. In fact, it should be the highest month for dividend income since September.
Of course, the YoY rate of growth has slowed down. But 24% YoY growth is a level of growth that any business would be satisfied with. And it’s even more satisfying that I’ve been able to continue increasing income while working part-time.
Although dividend income could’ve been higher if I remained full-time, and even though I am missing that stock sharing plan with the matching contributions, at least I’ve been able to build an income stream that will surely pay me more than $500 by the end of the year.
Moreover, I learned a lot about dividend investing this year. My portfolio is becoming leaner, and I am purchasing stocks more selectively now. I look forward to building up the core positions in 2020.
