Forward Dividend Income Projection # 3 | March 2018 – Total Dividend Income Projection for 2018 – Dividend Income added monthly
I’ve been putting in a lot of work on scheming up more ways to save money lately. I really have.
I find it motivating to read about savings rates and to read net worth updates from other bloggers.
I’ve also realized that blogging dividend income received is extremely motivating. It really pushes me to save more because the end result is higher dividend income updates.
With that said, I was thinking about the idea of writing a post to document my savings rate…
But then it dawned on me—why not use forward dividend income updates to motivate myself to save more?
Forward Dividend Projections
There have been two forward dividend income projections published, and they already documented how much dividend income was increased since the previous report.
Naturally, I have decided to commit to publish 1 forward dividend income projection per month.
Going forward I’m committed to publish 1 dividend income update monthly, and 1 forward dividend income projection monthly.
Ultimately, the goal for this monthly segment is to motivate myself to save more. Furthermore, I’d like to set a long term goal to increase annual dividend income by $83 per month. At that rate, I’ll be able to add more than $1,000 annually to my dividend income portfolio.

Monthly Dividend Income Outlook
Of course, the biggest success since the January report—all months are now generating double digit income. But I think it’s equally impressive that annual income is up 30.61%.
To break the numbers down further, the dividend business now earns $77.95 more in annual income (including March 2018).
Dividend Income Added Monthly
Ultimately, the reason I want to establish this as a recurring blog post is to save more money.
Although the monthly income added has picked up the pace compared to 2017, the end goal is to average an $83 increase per month.
Admittedly, that goal may be slightly far fetched at this point in time. But I still want to work towards that number anyways.
Forward Dividend Income Projection # 3 | March 2018 – Concluding Thoughts
The goal to earn $425 in annual income is still within reach. The business is now on course to generate $248.70 more than what was earned ($58.14) in 2017.
To reach the goal of earning $425 in annual dividend income, I need to earn at least $118.16 more. In actuality, I have to add much more than that because there’s only 3 quarters of earnings potential left in 2018. To reach the target, I must save more and be intentional with stock purchases.
