Concluding Thoughts & Analysis of the Results
The RTC portfolio manager was pleased with the March results.
It’s impressive to have already earned $8.40 more than the 2017 total, and it’s an accomplishment to achieve a 14.45% YOY increase this early in the year. It was also almost shocking to see that income has grown 139% since last quarter. I literally had to double check the numbers a couple times. Ultimately, the increase came from all the extra dollars that have been put to work over the last few months.
Furthermore, the income received in March has brought the portfolio closer to the goal of earning $425 in total in 2018. That goal is now more than 15% complete. Still, though, it will take another strong month in April to stay in line with the goal. Income received will have to grow another 10% to stay on pace.
